MRF Sea-level Pressure Forecasts
MRF Model Forecast Sea-level Pressure
These maps are generated using GEMPAK from the Medium-Range
Forecast Model (MRF)
grids we obtain from the LDM. These plots display sea-level
pressure (SLP)
for forecasts ranging from 84 to 240 h (3.5 - 10 days).
The MRF grids are global, but
for now we display only the northern hemisphere. The MRF is run out
to 240 h only once daily (at 00 UTC).
